*Yes, it's heavily inspired by My Chemical Romance's The Black Parade. No, I don't know the band. No, I'm not doing this for profit. You know. In case anyone asked...
Dear Wonderful People:
I need help.
Well, actually, Vanity & Vein needs your help, but as I am part of them...I need help. I don't know how many of you guys follow me on Twitter/LJ/Tumblr/Facebook, but maybe you've heard me talk about a little thing called RepoFest 2010? Maybe you've even seen these?
Maybe you've even seen me tossing this link
Here's the situation, you guys: This is the final week people can purchase tickets. This week also needs to really count. We need as many people buying tickets as we can if we really want to make this happen. And let's face it; what's a party without guests?
So here's what I'm asking of you: Regardless of whether or not you live in San Antonio or Texas at large, please take either the flier, the banner, or the link--or even all three--and spread the word about this event. Please ask people to pass the word on.
Hell, even link back to this blog, if you want. Just get the word out somehow. If you follow me on Twitter, retweet this link
. If you don't follow me on Twitter but have one, RT what I just linked anyway! Don't worry about those who are like "Oh, I can't make it."
or "Oh, I would if I wasn't broke or lived closer."
For every person who can't, there is always at least one person who can and wants to that doesn't yet know this is going on
. Please help those people find out about this!
There are a lot of people who have been working hard to make this happen, and I wouldn't be pushing so hard for this if I didn't believe in RepoFest's high potential to be awesome. So even if it's just to humor me or shut me up, will you help me?
